New Vice-Principal at École publique Renaissance

For Immediate Release

Timmins - The Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario (CSPNE) is pleased to endorse the appointment of Chantal Goold as Vice-Principal of École publique Renaissance in Timmins.  Ms. Goold has been acting Vice-Principal since January 1, 2021 and will officially assume her new role as of Monday, January 25.

Ms. Chantal Goold has had a career in education for more than 20 years and has been part of the CSPNE team since 2003.  She is well connected to the French-Public School community of Timmins  since she has been teaching at Renaissance since 2004. Over the years, she has occupied the positions of teacher, educational advisor and designated teacher.  Her motivation, leadership, sense of responsibility and increased ability to work as a team stood out and made her the ideal candidate to take on the Vice-Principal role of this school that welcomes students from grades 7 to 12.

She is succeeding to Mr. Roch Mageau, who accepted the Principal position at École secondaire publique l’Alliance in Iroquois Falls, last December.  Ms. Goold will continue to work closely with Chantal Tremblay, Principal at Renaissance.

The CSPNE congratulates Ms. Chantal Goold and wishes her well-deserved success in her new role.

In accordance with universal values, the CSPNE covers an area of 46,453 km2 and provides the communities of Timmins, Iroquois Falls, Kapuskasing, Hearst, Temiskaming Shores, Sturgeon Falls, North Bay and Parry Sound with quality French-language education. Close to 2,200 northeastern Ontario students have chosen French-language public schools.
