CSPNE appoints a new Human Resources Director

North Bay, Ontario - The Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario (CSPNE) is pleased to announce the nomination of Ms. Lynn Fecteau as Human Resources Director. She will assume her new duties on Monday, July 5.

With her provincial designation as a Certified Human Resources Professional and active membership in the HRPA since 2017, Ms. Fecteau has a diverse background working in Ontario’s French education sector. She has a thorough understanding of the issues, laws and regulations, and requirements necessary to effectively take the helm of CSPNE’s Human Resources department.

Timmins resident and Human Resources Officer with the Conseil scolaire catholique de district des Grandes Rivières for the past ten years, Ms. Fecteau joins the public school board team with relevant experience and a compelling drive. Her community involvement with several francophone organizations in Northern Ontario is a testament to her leadership and dedication to her immediate and extended community.

“We are confident that Ms. Fecteau will ensure continued adherence to the Board’s strategic plan while supporting the human resources team, CSPNE and the schools while maintaining positive working relationships and ensuring the implementation of effective strategies for the management and well-being of all personnel” states Associate Director of Education, Mr. Yves Laliberté.

Her arrival fulfills an administrative need at the management level in the Human Resources department.

In accordance with universal values, the CSPNE covers an area of 46,453 km2 and provides the communities of Timmins, Iroquois Falls, Kapuskasing, Hearst, Temiskaming Shores, Sturgeon Falls, North Bay and Parry Sound with quality French-language education. Close to 2,200 northeastern Ontario students have chosen French-language public schools.
